How Does it Work?

The Details…

There is an initial free 30-minute consultation concerning your weekly meal(s) and diet needs.  This can be done in-person or over-the-phone but an initial orientation to the client’s kitchen is required before the first cooking session.

After meals are decided, Chez Toi will do the shopping and come to your home kitchen to prepare the meal(s). The time frame for meal preparation and clean-up is between 2 - 4 hours depending on number of meals and complexity.

Meals will be left with instructions for how to reheat if necessary and enjoy!

Groceries are paid for in advance directly by the client either by cash, check or prepaid debit card.

Payment for the culinary service can be paid through Venmo, cash or check.

Meet Jessi…the Owner

Chez Toi was born out of a need for people to have easier access to healthy, fresh food tailored to suit their needs and lifestyle.  I have been dabbling in the kitchen since my teenage years.  Working in different culinary roles, both nationally and internationally, strengthened my skills, but when I became involved in organic farming, I truly found my inspiration for creations in the kitchen.  From 2012 until 2015, I owned and ran The Fare Palate, a farm-to-table stand at the Blacksburg Farmers Market, which served seasonally inspired fare weekly.  Additionally, my interest in Ayurveda has cultivated another connection between food and the way it can nurture and nourish our body.
